It's me who chooses & it's up to me

I don't want you to tell me how to live

I made my decisions

I accept my consequences

I listen to no one but myself

I will consider your opinion

but I won't follow it right away

What's right and what's wrong is put to discussion

but I have the final say

You might not agree

I don't mind if you leave me

I only need those who are true to themselves

Only want the ones who love me back

You have no right over me

Only I do

and I will accept what becomes of me.

This screams of Freedom and it is something I wish I had in my own youth, always know those next six steps of life. But you made me know what it was to be young, even for a moment and I thank you for it.

but yes to this..."and i will accept what becomes of me"

if you can't accept it...then leave me alone...i am quite fine without you in my life.
