SatisfactionA Poem by CristySatisfaction Like that when you've finished your last bite of dessert Sigh of relief flows from my lips The same feeling when you see a rainbow through a violent storm Sweet nectar that same hummingbird keeps coming back for The same fulfillment after after a blissful walk When the trees are at its greenest, When the fresh aroma of plumeria entices you with its perfume Hands are intertwined with my own shadow Skipping through the blooming view of gladiolas I'm my own best friend right now and I'm loving my companion Moments like this don't stay for long I'm treasuring this tranquility blanket Afterall, I am at peace.
