This makes me think about how physical appearance changes over time, but when you look into your own eyes, you truly see yourself, and that part of you remains unchanged.

I agree, but it is very difficult to see that never changing part. That flow, that exchange between me and myself, looking in my own eyes, also changes over time, it is a part of our aging. This is what I think. Can you tell me if a person ages more quickly or more slowly if she is constantly looking in a mirror? You don't have to answer...or what if an astronaut is traveling faster than the speed of light, trying to go back the spinning of time? Just riddles...I was joking :)

What I get from this is a person who has lost sight of their inner child, too uptight and closed off, finding it again and dreaming once more. Beautifully written.

Mirror mirror please foretell...but me I will not tell you :) The strange fact is that I understood very late in life this simple fact, and yes, you are quite close :)

Your persistence makes me happy. :)) And now you make me tell you the meaning ... I combined here physics, psychology and philosophy with a little emotion and feeling. It is a moment in time, but the human brain cannot measure time, it is fleeting, what we see in the mirror is our younger self (in all its meanings) and there are also weaknesses of human perception, not to speak about the speed of light going back and forth or the change of the mirror and its imperfections. Mirror is a vast subject, I read your poem about it.
