Mona Lisa

Mona Lisa

A Poem by Cristina Moldoveanu
"

An epigram attempt - three satirical poems

"

1.

Her eyes are truly not hypnotic

Although her smile is mystery,

Each man becoming too myopic

Is guilty of adultery.

2.

Because she had an empty purse,

Still smiling strange like La Joconde,

He drove his Jaguar in reverse

Thinking she was another blonde.

3.
She had a few coins for grissini,
Wearing her old and too short skirt.
With pity, dressed in white silk shirt,
He bought for her pretty bikini.

Author's Note

Cristina Moldoveanu
My epigrams are more cynical and satirical than humorous. I tried to criticize the vices with a sharper needle in my hand.
