Glass Boy and Paper GirlA Poem by OctoberDawnOpposites attract
There once was a glass boy, transparent and alone
Seldom did he cast a shadow though his thoughts were always known. Along came a girl with creased and pressed skin Her heavy heart held her down, a girl so paperthin. Harsh words would light like fire and burn her to ash Piercing glares would reduce him to rubble; his fragile heart smash But being both fragile neither knew hurtful words nor ways So they loved eternally and held each other all their days. © 2012 OctoberDawnFeatured Review
