Save the NightA Poem by OctoberDawnAn urging to push through the times when you are deceived by the person you trusted most.
"Save the night" she said, as I was lost inside her eyes.
And there it was I lost my heart, right beside her lies. Was it freely given, or was it stolen away? My weak heart needed a home; I asked if it could stay. But her eyes she turned away, for love she had no place. And there I was left alone, her memories to chase. I still miss her presence, though her words left me undone; So save the night for those of us who cannot face the sun.
