Her...

Her...

A Poem by OctoberDawn

Raven hair alights the wind,
Above turquoise moons and twilight skin.
She in my night's sky,
Her warmth like snow;
Which on the breeze of winter's wind doth blow.

But I brave this course
For that pale, ethereal shine;
Two orbs in the darkness,
Connected only with mine.

What else can be said,
For what else can I write?
A fleeting glance is all she sees,
her tundra stands alone in the night.

well, now.. I am truly perplexed as to why you don't have a LOT more reviews with this piece... I enjoyed it... It had a breezy dream-like flow that made you get lost in "her" enchanting essence, and then swept into the questions plaguing the mind.. The night sky is such an alluring temptress... I love your use of language and imagery here.. nice job...
