Winter HeartA Poem by CalebWinter Heart
This black soul is
pleading for help against the darkness inside. It cries and cries, but it can’t
find its way out of its prison in time. It’s frozen with pleading voices ever
carrying it to a place unknown to anyone. It lost forever wishing it could run
away from the pain. But now it curses the existence it has been given, for the
pain has consumed it.
Lost in a frozen
wasteland I wish I could find a peaceful end to this existence of mine. If only
I could see the pain inside of me. Then I could let it go and never worry about
my soul. But this frozen wasteland of mine can’t seem to let me live my life.
If only you would have
stayed with me then this black soul could stop pleading. But it never ends that
easily. Now I see that this soul shall forever cry in this frozen wasteland
never seeing the love the sun brings. The pain I feel shall haunt you forever
never ending its chase until you know my souls pain.
Lost in a frozen
wasteland I wish I could find a peaceful end to this existence of mine. If only
I could see the pain inside of me. Then I could let it go and never worry about
my soul. But this frozen wasteland of mine can’t seem to let me live my life. © 2015 CalebAuthor's Note
