Lasting Embrace

Lasting Embrace

A Poem by Caleb

She pulls me close into a loving grasp.

I can feel her chilling breath on my breast.

It is heavenly beyond compare.

I push her away because the pain is too great.

But she inches closer to me again.

I love her, but it feels like a crime.

For she is not mine.

But I kiss her anyway not holding back.

The more I kiss her the more I know.

She may be young, but she is kind.

I promised my master I would protect her.

But our love blossomed out of affection.

I can’t help, but run away.

With the princess who was promised to my king.

So very romantic. We can't help who we fall in love with, when it happens just go with it.
Nicely done Caleb.
