DissensionsA Poem by Al R. ArceLove is never easy
Dissensions
Deep within the fire of our conflicts When the passion obscures all reason And words can not expel our demons I will let you lead me through the halls of death And through the guts of hell I shall feel no dread For I know I'm your all in your world. I see our struggles in time unfurl Getting battered inside a tempest In unrest, stressed and distressed Yet through our eyes we see beacons Bewitching us out of our freedom For you know you're my all within my world. We become lost within our might No compromises, no direction Doubts clouding our selections Though somehow in distress We are there without regrets For we know, within our all we are our world. Unwilling we walk through the halls of madness Desperately looking for reasons to fall apart Yet when the end is near our tears glue our hearts Becoming one despite all sadness For we are together not to conquer all But because together we are one world. © 2013 Al R.
