Distortion.

Distortion.

A Poem by Crimson_ish
"

A fragment of thought during musical escapade.

"

In distorted vision I found silence

Colors brighter, ambiguity sharper

Clarity none.

In distorted images I found happiness

Profound,

Smiles blurred, colors faded,

Mingled into one another

boundaries lost.

In distorted sounds I found music

Sweet,

Lines of symphonies flowing into

Each other

Abruptness

intensified

Rationality teased.

In distorted vision I found silence,

Peace was never meant to be

Achieved,

Kaleidoscope pulled my memories,

Converted charcoal loneliness

Into a vivid sense of colors,

A distorted fondness for living.

One of my old works, the punctuation and form of poetry is meant to intensify the theme :)

and it does intensify it, but not only that the entire poem is a paradox, which pulls in opposite directions and "ambiguity sharper" is a perfect oxymoron...

i think as poets we times live in that distorted world, which for us seems much clearer in focus, than a very simple, high definition world for most.

i really love this...off to read more of you.

Distortion opens the mind up to anything that can be latched onto. You mesmerize the reader with avenues of uncertainty that feel real whereupon we find illusion.

Great write!

Thank you so much for appreciating my little poem, Al! :)
Awwwww! Kajal... with each and every new work you are showing you class and deep inherited frndship with poetic words and thoughts... the way you created such an amazing poetry with tremendous poetic vision and beautiful imagery, i am truly mesmerized... oh how thought provoking those words are... How magical is this when you say,
"In distorted vision I found silence
Colors brighter, ambiguity sharper

Clarity none." If someone finds silence, colors brighter and ambiguity sharper in distorted vision then that person's mind is a something special...

Again there is a touch of class when you say,
"In distorted images I found happiness
Profound,
Smiles blurred , colors faded,
Mingled into one another

Boundaries lost." ahh! the beauty of your words, the heart warming smoothness of your thoughts just captured my mind...

"In distorted sounds I found music
Sweet,
Lines of symphonies flowing into
Each other
Abruptness
intensified
Rationally teased." in distorted sounds the poetess finds sweet music and symphony lines flows into each other with abruptness intensified and rationally teased... you are keep inspiring me Kajal....

As for the last stanza, i always find a new word in your works and i found here another one and that is 'kaleidoscope' , with 'converted charcoal loneliness' i got a lovely imagery.....

I am a fan of yours... im learning from you so much, although im not a writer even 1% like you but you are inspiring me to learn... what a beautiful piece of poetry.... hats off to you... clappings... full ratings...

This gives me a hint that a revolutionary book of poetry is coming from you very soon... i truly believe that....
