Eyes of the Raven

Eyes of the Raven

A Poem by CrimsonHints

Draven eyed the raven,
Sat upon the hill.
Though sunlight abounded,
His heart beat quicker still.

Draven eyed the raven,
Cawing from the trees.
Though his legs were steady,
They found him on his knees.

Draven eyed the raven,
The raven stared back at he.
Though a fearsome beast,
He did not know what fear could be.

Draven eyed the raven,
Heard its' screeching, twisted lies.
Felt the cold talons on his skin,
Before the raven plucked his eyes.
