Have No Fear, Beloved

Have No Fear, Beloved

A Poem by CrimsonHints

Your body twists in the night and your hands cry out for my touch. Your eyes burrow into the darkness beneath your closed eyes. Your lungs inhale in your delusion and are let go in desperate pleas. I am here in your terrors, grounding you to the real and physical.

Don't scream in fear and hopelessness when you can feel my flickering eyes and bated breath. I don't drift when you drench your pillow and heave at midnight. I am your anchor when you set sail for your dreams.

I will always chain you into the light from the darkness that enshrouds you.

Have no fear, beloved. I am watching over you.
