Geraldine

Geraldine

A Poem by CrimsonHints

Geraldine, you have crimson footsteps and soot follows on the breeze left in your wake.

Geraldine, the color in your eyes is bleeding into the fleshy pink of your skin. An emotionless wanderer who walks on dreams.

Geraldine, you wear no color on your lips, clouded by the breath you exhale. Blonde hair in the midnight sun lit up like starlight.

Geraldine, blue butterflies dance on your cheeks greeting the creasing of a rare smile. My reflection in the sky beneath your brows is warm.

Geraldine, the tips of your fingers ignite with the ember beneath your breast. So colored you are in my world of black and white.
