Weeping Willow

Weeping Willow

A Poem by CrimsonHints

I danced under the weeping willow;
Caught his tears in my outstetched hands.
I mournfully sang with the weeping willow;
Words filled with the plight of man.

I healed the weeping willow;
His broken boughs splintered and chipped.
I soothed the weeping willow;
His broken, pained boughs I kissed.

I helped the weeping willow,
But his tears did surround me.
I loved the weeping willow,
But his tears did sooner drown me.
