Maybe Then They'll Remember

Maybe Then They'll Remember

A Poem by CrimsonHints

Let the world roll with fire,
And the sun dim to an ember.
Let the stars fade out,
And maybe then they'll remember.

Black leather and bandages,
Green flames in the sky.
White canary screams,
And the gleam in their eyes.

Golden rays from the ether,
Brown wings in the sunlight.
Gray ghosts in the mirrors,
Tan sand in the nights.

Let the winter bask in July,
And the summer live in December.
Let the seasons fade away,
And maybe then they'll remember.

Maybe then they'll remember.
