Dare I Stay Asleep

Dare I Stay Asleep

A Poem by CrimsonHints

Wrap these chains around my neck,
And drag me to the deep.
Dare I breathe my last breath,
Dare I stay asleep.

Cover me with tidal waves,
And release me from the shore.
Dare I drift away,
Dare I speak no more.

Throw me to the blue seas.
Let me rest on the sandbars.
Dare I say "please,"
Dare I see the stars.

Give me to its foamy fingers.
Let the current spin.
Dare I say I linger,
Dare I call this "the end."
