Green Satin Man

Green Satin Man

A Poem by CrimsonHints

He's made of steel, and tin,
With bolts to help him stand.
He has an aluminum heart,
And he's my green satin man.

He screams behind bars,
But, they're of his own design.
His mask keeps him caged,
But, nevertheless, he's mine.

His metal frame is wound so tightly;
Little copper springs, and gears.
His heart beats a mechanical sound,
As he cries his mercury tears.

He watched the liquid metal,
As down his cheeks they ran.
My fingers wiped them free.
He's my green satin man.
