Thane

Thane

A Poem by CrimsonHints

A prayer from my people,
She opened the book.
Her eyes, a striking green, drowning,
Her red lips quivered, shook.

She recited the unfamiliar,
Reaching down to hold my hand.
Her skin brushing mine;
Fulfillment, ignite, expand.

My drowning, green-eyes girl,
I felt the heat leave my core.
And with your parting prayer,
Indeed, I was no more.
