Kiss Me

Kiss Me

A Poem by CrimsonHints

His eyes are closed,
And oh, how the world is hushed..
When he opens them again,
Let me cascade into his touch.

Kiss me.

His lips are unmoving,
But, they speak my creation, my start.
His arms are still,
But, he still holds my heart.

Kiss me.

The strands of his hair dangle,
From the stars that hang above.
Holding fast, I ask God,
"Have I now, found the meaning of love?"

Kiss me.

Pull me to your heights,
Your golden universe caress.
And if I could ask of you to, "Kiss me,"
Softly whisper, "Yes."
