Imprisoned King
A Poem by CrimsonHints
From afar, I took a glance,Blue eyes behind smooth glass.A little further, I took a chance,Blue eyes behind a mask. His eyes rested upon mine,But I was never there.Just another in his time,Never enough to care.Yet again, I crept to peer,Damn it all! To be unseen,I touch the glass; cold, unclear,Unable to free my imprisoned king.
