When the World Turned Upside DownA Poem by CrimsonHints
Thunder became blinding lightning,
The moon became the blazing sun, The waves rolled into dust beneath my feet, And children took up guns. Trees turned their roots and poisoned our lungs, Birds quivered and silenced their songs, Mountains crumbled and became our breath, And children took up all wrongs. The loudest noise became the slightest sound, When the world turned upside down... © 2016 CrimsonHints |
