True Name

True Name

A Poem by CrimsonHints

Call me by my true namelet the words roll off your tongue
Enunciated title of yesterdayreverberates throughout your lungs

This coating keeps me coldin my amnesiac disposition
My nameless oblivionforming these inhibitions

My name is my pasta bond to the mysterious
A connection to the unknownbut I fear to grow delirious

So I need you to speakspeak of whom I was
Say the title of an older ageand witness a deafening pause

And then you'll see that I rememberas a tear slides down my cheek
You'll see that I rememberwho I am, and what I'll be
