About To Break

Written when I was fighting with my now ex boyfriend

I feel as though i'm about to break

I'm not sure how much I can take

I feel like i'm on the edge

Waiting to be pushed off

One more word, is that all it will take?

I don't know but i'm about to break.

I feel so lonely, even when i'm not.

Sometimes I feel like I should disappear and rot

Does anyone really care?

Or is this mine alone to bear? 

Is this just a test?

Or is this all there is?

I give my best, and all the rest

Maybe it's not enough I guess.

I just know i'm about to break.

I'm about to shatter

I don't know if I will ever be put back together.

Will anyone try? Am I worth it?

Sometimes I wonder.....
