No Love

Living in a world with no love

They say they love me

that they want to be with me

Is it all a lie?

Should I ask why?

Who do I believe?

I just want one

One that really cares

I've become a shadow

A shadow of my former self

Locked in my heart of pain and sadness

I shall remain in this abyss

I hope that one day

Some one will take me away

and prove to me that they aren't all the same

I sit here pondering, am I to blame?

Why do I always end up hurt?

Why do I live in a world

Where I end up alone, with no love?

i have trouble with rhyming, sorry. It may suck. Im not too good, I need to vent.

This poem I think resonates with just about everybody at some point in their lives. The questions asked in this poem are very realistic asked by many different people everyday. Though I am happy to say I am no longer one of them! But this a great poem that made me reflect on a time where I wasn't fortunate and I did feel very alone.
The flow of this poem was great as it was a reflection and pure emotion, instead of a story.

I think it was written extremely well, and it's beautiful. Keep writing. I noticed you rhymed a couple of times, but it was perfectly fine the way it was. It needed nothing more.

Not bad at all. I didn't even realize that you were trying to rhyme, which is a good thing:-) Sometimes, when people try too hard to rhyme, it is painfully obvious. Such a sad piece. Love yourself first, and then you'll never be alone. Keep writing, and I'll keep reading.
