Outcry (The Night's Listening Ear)A Poem by Divine Bella-sigh-
(moonlight sonata plays in the background)
-mumbles to self-
I don't know what's become of me,
-screams into the night-
My soul, my heart, my mind-
Why, oh, why, must this be?
I see the love right before my eyes-
I would strangle myself without a doubt-
But, I’m too weak - too weak-
-whispers to the moon-
Why can't I feel my ever beating heart?
-screams-
All I hear now is the wind howling at me,
Have I grown stark raving mad?
What are of these ramblings in my head?
Toss them all far, far away-
-mumbles to fade-
Come-
Conceal my woes with your velvety night
