My song.A Poem by =Another of my recent spoken word pieces. I'd like to pay my thanks to fellow user H.L. Cerveise for editing this piece. And so I put it to you, a final time, How can you sit so callously? I ask for your words, the ones you usually scream. I wait, for the moment; your voice comes to break. And I request that you tell me, softly love, If you even know why you're shouting. Have you forgotten your due diligence? Or is it just routine? And you ask me to speak, easing silence, About the acts I've done, Then you list off the things, That I didn't. You plead with me, for a final fight, to battle out the night's sky. And I sit and ponder, once more, on your words, that await my song. © 2016 =Reviews
