October Rain.

The moments, precious,

And yet so few,

Those perfect hours,

So honest and true.

Yet the timing isn't right,

Though my thoughts disagree,

A mind so perfect,

You were beyond my belief.

The world stood still,

In those few moments,

Reality had stopped,

As if we owned it.

And whilst things right now,

Just aren't the same,

I'll sit and wait,

For October rain.

I love this poem. It is so great when you can be with a person in this way. I mean like you wrote, "The world stood still" for just one example. These moments of often times few and far between, so cherish them as you can like in this poem.
