4am.

4am.

A Poem by =

It's come to that time again,
Where thoughts lose words,
My mind begins to falter,
From faults that I can't alter.

It's 4am again my sweet,
Where everything comes out,
The words you etched on my mind,
And your smile, I yearn to find.

It's become nightly, this 4am,
Where you become all I am,
Where my mind races faster than my heart,
Because of you, my work of art.

I'm peaceful for a while my dear,
Until I wander to your thoughts,
My aching worry unable to end,
As I yearn to be your 4am.

I liked the thoughts and the wish of the poem.
"I'm peaceful for a while my dear,
Until I wander to your thoughts,
My aching worry unable to end,
As I yearn to be your 4am."
I liked the above lines. Nice to be the 4am embrace. Thank you Roy for sharing the excellent poetry.

Not a word is wasted in this writing, each used to so deeply delve into your passion and feeling. This poem speaks to us in ways some may not comprehend, making it all the more awe inspiring. Keep at it and someday your work will be recognized by all.

I like the way you set up this image of your four a.m. and you hold to the trend of what yours looks like, and then at the very end with the last line, you almost throw everything you wish onto the girl you love and that's when it really his deep for me. It may be a fairly classic strategy, but it is very powerful nevertheless. Well done.

I like that there is a love story in there but it very light and structured very well. I read it twice just to make sure I didn't miss anything.

I liked this poem. It sounded good and had a somewhat stressful yet romantic vibe. I would suggest taking out the word "the" in line four because it would make the line flow better. Other than that, this is a lovely poem.
