My heart is a jester
That plays cruel tricks
It convices me the magic is real
Then shows me the truth
But as cruel as a heart is
Without its cruel pranks we would never find the real trick
Wheather it is a disapearing act
Or a firey show of passion for the art
Without my cruel jester heart I wouldn't look so deep into some
Wouldn't see the good in many people
But I wish it would stop burning itself
So love was not its only medicine
I look at many and think are they the one
Do they look at me
Do they think of me on lonley nights
My jester heart wispers yes into my ear
I am a foolish queen for listening but still I do
I will until my pain pays off and the real trick shows threw
So now I wonder to all the guys who read this
Could it be you
