A Story by Cree Nations

I learned to love and was loved by the best.

Mom and Dad.

Oh lord how I've been blessed.

Mom left us way too soon.

And it was hard on us, because we loved her so.

Her leaving left us scared and scarred.

And both us together, yet separately alone.

So now Daddy you've gone to be with her...and I'm so glad you're not alone.

God's house is full of love.  He's there with you up abaove.

So now my parents are dead and gone.

And though they have left me, I am not alone.

For in my heart they do live and breathe.

There are many ways the departed live on--through their dna, their works, etc, but perhaps most importantly, inside the hearts of those who loved them.

A nice tribute to some wonderful parents. Yes, they will always be in your heart, as my daughter will always live on in mine.
