My Ghost

My Ghost

A Poem by Cree Nations

“MY GHOST”

I’ve asked myself again and again

Will I see you on one of my tomorrows?

Night dreams come and I run to your arms

And fall victim again to loves sweet charm.

I whisper your name to the wind

Loves sweet message I hope to send.

Come to me my Love, I feel so cold.

You’re the very heart of my soul.

So long we’ve been apart

Your memory fills my heart.

Your soul is my souls host…

I long for you my love, my companion ghost.

I think you should include some apostrophes wherever needed to indicated possession. Simple grammar rules go a long way.

This is beautiful. I like the idea of a companion ghost. Well-written.
Good job!
