Ninn flies to her Wolfmage

Ninn heard the death howl of her brother, the Wolfmage and rushed to find him to keep the promise they’d made.  The cry went out, and a child was heard to say, “Listen to that, I hear her wings.”  They all were quiet as they listened in awe they heard and there could be no doubt.  A glorious sight to behold was their Ninn and her Gable circled above them.  The old ones looked upon her in wonder, though in fear and in panic the young ones did scream.  But those that remembered and still did believe spoke to their children saying it was not as it seemed.  And there she did see him her friend and her brother.  So deep in his grief he did not see her.  He threw back his head and began to howl.  It was then that he heard it, her beautiful song, the one he thought forever was gone.  Turning he saw her, his magnificent Queen.  Bowing deeply he knelt there at her feet and all were astonished when she began to weep, and rushed to enfold him deep within her wings.
