I Promise You: Chapter 5

     The next morning, the bus was as crouded as usual. I stayed as far away from Brooklyn as possible. I sat somewhere in the middle of the bus. I continued to gaze out the window for a couple minutes and then I saw a shadowy figure outside. It was the boy. No.. I'm just seeing things... I looked again. Hes gone. I calmed down now. 2 minutes later, the same thing happened. He was laying beside a tree, looking at his own feet. That's when I started to freak out. I blinked twice and hard. He was gone. "What the f*ck is going on?!" I shouted angrily. Everyone stared at me and started laughing histerically. My cheeks flushed and I looked down at MY own feet. Sigh...

 

     This morning in fourth period I thought I was going crazy. That boy popped up everywhere I went. 1st period, 2nd period, 3rd period, The office, bathroom (I freaked out). He even came up during 4th period, standing next to Mr. Fritz, the science teacher.

 

     It was finally lunch and i saw him again. I sighed this time knowing that if I said something people would look at me like i was crazy. I just ignored him. When i looked up again, he disappeared. I groaned quietly. I continued to chew on my old, squishy, turkey and cheese sandwich. When i went to empty my tray, something tripped me. I fell face-first. I stood in the middle of the floor, taking in all the laughter. "What!" i shouted "What the f*ck do you want from me b*tch!?" I ran out of the cafeteria and . I walked  out of the stall, my eyeliner and mascara running down my face. "AWW Have you been crying little baby?" mocked Brooke. "Just do it and get it over witlocked myself in a bathroom stall. "Yea, so like a couple minutes ago, this girl just tripped out of nowhere..." Great, I thought, just what I need. Another beating from Brookeh" I mumbled. She came at me but before she could, she fell, face-flat. I couldnt help but laugh. Brooke's hair flew up in the air, along with her head. She screamed of pain, and her body was slammed against the wall. The soap machine went crazy and on the mirror, it wrote:

I'm Gonna Get You Brooklyn...

Brooke screamed. I laughed and laughed, as Brooke's  posse ran and screamed. Brooke crawled away,out of the bathroom amd limped to the nurses office. I was just about to walk back to class untill I heard little whispers. "Averyy......Averyy....." Shivers went up and down my spine. "Averyy.... Averyy...."
