That Friday, I was walking through the school hallways, after school.
I was usually the last one to leave, so the hallways were pitch quiet.
I walked over to my locker to stuff my books in, as an envelope fell out.
I frowned, picking the heavy envelope off the floor, as I carefully ripped it open.
I gawked, as I realized there were eight thousand dollars inside all in hundreds.
A folded note was inside, as I unfolded it to read it.
Kendall;
You have every right to be pissed at me. But, here's your money.
-Jesse.
I clenched my fists in anger.
Jesse and I hadn't spoken ever since I caught him under the sheets with some dirty w***e.
I grunted, stuffing the money in my pocket.
I sprinted out of the school grounds, quickly pacing towards Jesse's house.
I didn't need his bloody money.
I knew it hadn't even been the third strike yet, but he disgusted me after the second one.
I knocked on the door aggresively, crossing my arms as I waited for him to answer.
When the door had swiftly swung open, Jesse stood there with a puzzled look.
"Kendall, what-"
Before he got to finish, I threw the envelope at him, as it bounced off his chest, landing his his arms.
"I don't need your dirty money anymore." I snapped, turning on my heel.
I felt a pair of hands grab my wrists, as I spun around.
I winced in pain, due to the bruises that Kyle had left on my wrists.
Jesse immediately noticed my pain, and removed my arm.
He held my hand, as he rolled up my sleeves, revealing long, purple bruises.
"What the hell is this?" he asked, glaring at my bruises.
I snatched my hand back, holding it protectively.
"None of your business." I childishly retorted.
"I think it is. I'm your boyfriend afterall." he demanded.
I snorted. "Ex boyfriend, Jesse. I'm done with you. I'm done watching you hook up with skanks."
Jesse's jaw clenched.
It was now that I noticed that it was snowing.
The tiny specks of snowflakes fell upon us.
"You don't mean that." Jesse finally breathed.
I rolled my eyes, and grinned. "But, I do."
"Are you doing this just because of Cole?!" Jesse angrily asked.
I narrowed my eyes towards him icily.
"What do you imply by that?" I snapped.
Jesse glared at me. "Don't feign innocence, Kendall! I saw you both sucking face!"
I bit my tongue with anger.
"So what if I like Cole?!" I cried.
"He's the reason why you aren't pretending to date me anymore, is it?" Jesse asked.
"Shut up! You're twisting my words!"
"You know, I bet he doesn't even like you." Jesse scoffed.
I remained silent, staring at him intently.
"He's only using you so I would lose to bet, and he can have my Ferrari!" Jesse shouted.
Tears welled up in my eyes, threatening to spill.
"Just like you've been using me this whole time." I whispered dangerously.
Jesse rolled his eyes.
"At least I have the balls to tell you that! You're so blind, Kendall! Cole doesn't like you, not one bit! So stop talking to him!" Jesse blurted.
I clenched my fists, wanting them to make contact with Jesse's pretty face.
"I-I hate you!" I finally screamed, running off.
