The next morning at school, I was approached by Jesse.
I noticed the tips of his black hair were wet, so he probably just showered from his basketball practices.
"Kendall, I was waiting for you." he cheerfully smiled.
I narrowed my eyes towards him, and raised an eyebrow.
"Great." I sarcastically said, brushing past him.
He placed his hands on my shoulder, and spun me around.
"Kendall? We have to walk in together, remember?" Jesse reminded.
I groaned, as I awkwardly held his warm hand by the palm, and walked in the school entrance.
People from the school corridor greeted Jesse, as Jesse smiled back at them.
As soon as we reached my locker, I let go of Jesse's hand.
Jesse leaned agaisnt the locker next to mine, and grinned at me.
"Quit staring." I snapped quietly.
"What? I am your boyfriend. I think I should be able to."
I was starting to get annoyed at how he uses that as every excuse.
"So, I was thinking, why don't you come to my house today?" Jesse asked.
I scrunched my nose. "Why?"
Jesse smirked. "Don't make it sound like the most disgusting thing you've ever heard, Kendall. Besides, since we are dating, why don't I get to know you better?"
I rolled my eyes. "In case you forget, Jesse, we're pretending." I whispered.
I walked by him with my textbooks in my arms, as he caught up to me.
"You know, Kendall, if you keep up this act, your four thousand dollars can go out the window." Jesse threatened.
I glared at him coldly. "Well, so will your precious Ferrari."
I saw as his teeth clenched tightly. "Just cooperate, okay?"
I let out an unlady-like grunt. "Fine."

"You know, Jesse. I'm pleasently surprised that your room is clean." I commented, staring at his room, which had no boxers lying all over the floor.
"What did you expect?" Jesse aslked.
I shrugged. "You know, condoms laying all over the floor. Messy bed sheets."
Jesse seemed taken aback by my comment, and rolled his eyes.
Jesse's house was larger than the average family house, but not quite as big as a mansion.
I flopped down on Jesse's tempurpedic bed, and wiggled around in his white, fluffy blankets.
"What the hell are you doing?" Jesse asked.
Now that we weren't in school, Jesse didn't have to pretend like he liked me.
Actually, he was pretty much acting like a jerk.
"Mind your own business." I snapped.
I couldn't see Jesse's face, because my face was facing down on his bed, but I could picture him dramatically rolling his eyes, and glaring at me harshly.
"It's my bed. And you're in my house." he spat.
I sat back up. "Whatever. We came here to get to know each other, right?"
"Right." he nodded.
"Well, go ahead. Amuse me." I said, resting comfortably on his bed.
Jesse seemed startled. "W-well, I like basketball and-"
I snorted. "No, sh*t." I said, pointing to the basketball jersey that hung on his body.
Jesse angrily groaned. "You know what? This 'getting to know each other' thing isn't working out."
I crossed my arms stubbornly. "Because, quite frankly, you suck at describing yourself."
Jesse opened his mouth to retort with me, but I cut him off.
"Hey? Do you have food here? I'm starving."
