I awkwardly sat on a beige, leather couch, as I watched everyone laugh and mingle with each other.
I took a sip of my soda, as I cursed under my breath for even coming to Cole's small get-together.
Scarlett had bailed at the last minute, telling me that her aunt was in the hospital.
"What's wrong, Kendall? Not having fun?" Cole asked, with his eyebrows knitting together in worry.
I smiled, and shook my head. "No, it's not that. It's just I don't really know how to socialize with thses people."
Cole smiled, and sat down on the couch next to me.
He took the bright red cup from my hands, and took a large gulp.
"Well, you can always talk to me." he offered.
I smiled greatfully. "Is that okay? Because I feel extremely awkward sitting here alone."
"It's fine. Besides, since you are dating my best friend, I shold get to know you better."
I cringed, but nodded.
We continued to chatter for a moment, until the chatter quieted down from the rest of the people.
Everyone's heads turned towards the staircase.
Jesse came down the oak stairs, with his arm around a petite girl with fiery red hair.
I rolled my eyes.
What was this? His fifteenth girl today?
I groaned, knowing that I was one of them.
"Truth or dare, anyone?!" a guy suddenly called out.
The chatter ascended, again, as everyone started to form into a small circle on the floor.
"Come on, sit next to me." Cole smiled, taking my wrist.
He led me on the cold floor, as I sat in between Cole and a girl named Hannah.
I knew Hannah from my English, Chemisty, and gym classes.
She was overall pretty popular in the school crowd, but she managed to be nice, anyway.
Adam took an empty, glass beer bottle, and settled it in the center.
He spun first, as it landed on a tall, supermodel looking blonde girl.
She chose truth, as Adam asked her if it was true that she stuffed her breast.
The poor girl began blushin insanely, as she nodded in embarassment.
The whole room erupted into laugher, as the girl tried to play if off by laughing along.
The next was a guy, who got dared to drench beer down his pants, which he happily did.
After, was Hannah. Hannah was dared to grind on Luke for a full minute, which she unwillingly did.
The truths and dares got funnier and deeper by each turn.
A guy, Brandon, started to spin the glass bottle.
It spun for a long minute, until it started slowly stopping, until it pointed to Cole.
Brandon grinned. "Cole, man, truth or dare?"
Cole smirked, and boldly said, "Give me a dare."
Brandon rubbed his hands evilly, and nodded.
"Alright, Cole. Go in the closet for an amazing 7 Minutes in Heaven with..."
Brandon's eyes scanned the circle of people, only stopping at the girls.
His hazel eyes met mine, as he chuckled.
"Her, Kendall." he pointed.
I saw the girls glaring at me, obviously jealous.
I felt stiff, as Cole laughed.
He started tugging my hand, and easily pulling me up with his muscular arms.
I turned around while Cole was dragging me, and my eyes stopped at Jesse.
He stared at me with an emotionless face, as he continued to watch me.
Cole led me in an empty coat closet, and closed it behind him.
I nervously bit my lip, as I could faintly see his blonde hair.
"Cole? I don't think I'm comfortable with-"
He placed his index finger on my lips, as he chuckled.
"Don't worry, we don't do anything. Besides, it's agaisnt guy code between Jesse and I." Cole smiled.
I let go of the breath that I've been holding in, and nodded.
"Do you want to make it look like me did something?" Cole asked.
I laughed, and shrugged. "Why not?"
