I Promise You: Chapter 1

                      

      I felt heat pour through my skin as the fire alarm goes off. I hear screaming in the backround and start to run. My weak legs carried me only halfway to witness my parents catching on fire. I screamed and ran as fast as i could to the nearest exit. I saw a red-orange blaze and kept on screaming. The last thing remebered, I was carried up by a man in black.

    

     "BRIIIIIING!!" I moaned and covered my head with the fluffy white pillow. "Avery!" shouted my Aunt Jay through the door, "wake up! Todays your first day of school!" "5 minutes!" I groaned. Aunt Jay shook me awake and I finally took the pillow off m head. I jumped out of bed and stumbled into the small white bathroom. On the way to the bathroom i took a glance at the picture frame that held a picture of my mom,dad and me. "Our Precious Family" it had read. I wiped a small tear from my eye and continued to walk towards the bathroom in my pink bunny slippers.
