Rain has made us inconvenient to move around, while in the nature, rain is just like a blessing to all lives, which is shown very beautifully by the words 'roots drink in solace'. Brief yet all these simple words had reflected exactly what mother nature has given us. Very beautiful poem, Praveeta! :)

I really like the short, terse words pelts, dams, and roots. It really creates a strong image.

Thank you for your time and review. I appreciate it.
A lovely and concise write on the rain as a blessing from summer. I like the images of "roots drinking in solace" as it is a very soothing line that give us a picture of nature's cycle itself.

You're welcome...
Release of excess waters from the dams flood so many places in India every year, yet the rain is so crucial for us. Mother nature always surprises us with her endless capability.
