A Poem by Praveeta

Indifference

A normal day it is
Dancing keyboard
Screeching chair
Singing phone
Roaring photocopier
I hope today be different

This is how our everyday is.. & is surrounded by & we wish that today it becomes different.

Thank you for your lovely review.
I like this poem. Most of us feel the same way. A change in the norm would give the day reason and purpose. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Hope is there for excitement.
I think all of us wish for excitement and adventure to happen during the day to take us away from the norm. Maybe today will be the day for that to happen! It is New Year's, after all... lol

Let's hope so. :)
Most days are filled with monotonous tasks yet the beat goes on. Maybe next year will be different!

Yes, I agree with you. Thanks for your comment.
We grow indifferent to things and accustomed to monotony and boredom. This one touched the issue masterfully...
