Introduction/Teaser to "What Lurks Beyond" or "Beyond the Veil"

Ok so I think I've finally started to come up with an idea I like for a possible novel/story, I am going to start officially writing it now. This post is to give you a hint about what its going to be.

Have you ever had that feeling of being watched? A moment where you could have sworn that creepy jack o' lantern was leering at you? You probably told yourself that you were seeing things, that your eyes were playing tricks on you. Maybe they weren't. Maybe more lurks in the darkness then you can even imagine...
