How life caved inA Poem by MaleA constant memory of the day she left His body chilled - quicker than a cryogenic freezer sigh - his reaction- ever since the day he'd seen her Maybe if he wouldn't have been so distant; She would be nearer and perhaps, maybe, eventually. his life would be clearer "No." he said out loud just to reassure himself that in this Jaded life of his there was to be nobody else If there was to be another, he'd forgotten it; put it on the highest shelf because it'd happen again, for the second time to destroy his health He beat his head on the wall cause he knew this was his last week he broke his mirror because the reflection he saw was boring and weak he picked up writing because he felt insignificant and meek he stopped writing; it made tears march across his cheek (They were dressed in their uniforms, marching in time) (They were waiting for a command; a signal; a sign) Soon the troops disbanded, yet the man shouted "Fine!" "I'll show you that i don't need love this time" his teeth helped form a ten meter grin the disbanded troops rolled down to his chin even now in this cliche he couldn't win and that's how his life caved in.
