Vision

Vision

A Poem by Male
"

This sucks and is cliche

"
I've always had a vision of how I would fall in love
I would be with a girl on my driveway (which is slanted so it would be good for stargazing)
We'd hold hands and talk all night and watch the stars and whatnot
maybe even share one perfect kiss there
But there's no pretty gals here; they're nowhere to be found.

I also have a picnic basket that sits untouched in the kitchen
I always thought i could take the girl i fell in love with on a picnic
and she'd be mine forever
and we'd think about that picnic basket when we grew old together
we could carve our initials in the picnic basket and it would be adorable
But there's no pretty gals here; they're nowhere to be found.

The driveway and the basket are not completely alone
they have company; I have a teddy bear as well
It's the cutest teddy bear you would ever lay your eyes upon
it has huge glossy eyes and precious paws
it sits on the shelf next to my heart
it is dusty from neglect; this is how it's always been
There are no gals here either and that is all.

there will be girls, especially for one as romantic and star-gazing as the poet I see
