IFA Poem by Cre8tiveheart
IF
If I believe God formed the earth and when he spoke, stars hung in the sky; Then I should never doubt or question him, I should never ask him, why? If I believe God gave flowers fragrance, and chose the shape of the leaves on each tree; Then I should rely upon that knowledge, He also carefully created me. If I believe he healed a leper, and raised a man up from the dead; Then I should listen when he speaks to me, Pay attention to all that is said. If I believe God created Adam from the dust upon the ground, and made him in his likeness, to have dominion over all around; Then I should understand his power, to protect me day by day. Know that he watches over me, and he hears everything that I say. If I believe that God caused Adam a great sleep, then formed from his rib a woman, so he would have for himself a help meet; Then I should also trust, if he would create for Adam an Eve; that somewhere in this world, there is also a man for me to cleave. If I believe that the Lord, hung for hours upon a cross; and died there for my sins so my soul wouldnt have to be lost; Then I should also know, from death came victory The angels rolled away the stone and he left the tomb on day three. If I believe the Bible, and the promises held within; Then I should invite Jesus in my heart, ask him to wash away my sin. If I believe all these things, each statement to be true; Then I should also do as commanded and tell othersHe also died for you! © 2008 Cre8tiveheart |
