Homicidal Yearning

Homicidal Yearning

A Poem by Cre8nFrmWithn
"

Written for the frustrations towards the one I love. He's a federal employee and always waits until the night before to have me sitting with him until two in the morning fixing his resume, KSA's, etc

"

Before the device, we elect your fate.

It makes you, therefore us.

But when you pause, it compels me,

Infuriates me,

a familiar frisson through me-

The wanting to kill you.

Oh my love, how many times must we

Sustain such tragedy,

the thwarting intellectual debris?

I wish only to lie next to you.

Instead we opt for words, illusions of what

others seek in you for the money we so desire.

All I’ve ever desire is you.

In its stead, I pursue to wrap my stunted fingers about your

neck and crush

an orgasmic rush of imprisoned emotions,

then repose in your anemic arms.

Let us flee, discharge from such frivolous dreams.

Rest and no more procrastinate for

the acceptance of others.

The treasures can wait but not I

my love.

If I wait, you will surely die…

My husband makes promises all the time about how he won't wait until the last minute. Yet again, here we are at midnight and still working on his paperwork.

laughing... your sense of the ridiculous is both timely and precious! As a poem the thoughts flow well and inevitably through to a prosecutor's dream case.

As a comment - any wife on the jury would hang the verdict.
