TBAA Story by SilverTBA
Vesper would organize bottles on a shelf, the bottles varied in size and shape. A small ding from the shop door alerted Vesper, he turned his attention to the mysterious customer who walked through the doorway. The man had fancy attire, quite too fancy for the small town in which Vesper lived.
"Visitor, I assume?" Vesper asked as he eyed the man. The man glared at Vesper before smiling. "Yes! I indeed am a visitor, from Buzzley, do you know it," the stranger seemed more friendly, catching Vesper off guard. "Yes I do think I am familiar with Buzzley, my father would travel there for his business constantly, wonder what he did there, he never told us before his passing," Vesper pondered as he cleaned the counter top. "But what can I get for you?"
"Ah, what was your father's name, perhaps I knew him, and, do you have a small invisible potion?" The mysterious man would sit down on a stool in front of the counter. He crossed his legs as he watched Vesper, carefully.
"Yes, that would be 48 coins." Vesper would present a small potion in a diamond shape. The mysterious man inspected the bottle and put money on the table as he took the potion into his pocket. Vesper would counter out the money, exactly 50 coins. He would put two on the table and slide them to the stranger. "Keep it, but you didn't answer my question young man." "Ah, my apologies. My fathers name was Vermont Winters,"Vesper would turn his back to the stranger, he started to organize the shelf behind him, which was full of potions and even wares, and ingredients for potions. The stranger would get up and leave, the bell rang as he left. Vesper glanced back and shrugged it off. The next day Vesper would wake up and walked down the stairs to the back room of the shop. He lived right upstairs, and the stairs to the next floor were in a room behind the counter. While the front worked as a shop, the back and upstairs were a home, which benefited Vesper. Vesper ran a comp through his hair as he rushed to the front door, turning the "Closed" sign to the other side, which showed "Open". He walked back to the counter, he made sure all the counters were clean and ready. Vesper lifted himself onto a stool behind the counter. He pulled a notepad out from under the counter, were he kept it in case of boredom. Vesper softly scribbled onto the pages of the notebook, his pencils scratching at the paper. Vesper would hear the door ding, he lifted his head, but nothing was there. Vesper was confused as he simply thought it was the wind. He would place his notebook onto the counter. He grabbed the rag and walked in front of the counter, he would scrub the counter, he wanted it to be sparkly clean after all. "Ah, what a nice counter, I would be quite pleased if I walked in and saw this in a shop," Vesper would say to himself as he smiled, putting his hands on his hips. Suddenly a sharp pain in Vespers neck would make him collapse. Vesper felt like someone was biting him but when he looked back, nobody was there. His eyes glanced around frantically. Was he imagining it? He didn't know. He rubbed his fingers across where it felt like he was bit, blood smeared onto his fingers. Vesper seemed more frantic now, out of the blue he would feel someone grab the back of his neck. Vesper would glance behind him, he couldn't get the full view of the stranger. But it was definitely that stranger from earlier. He could tell, and he used the invisible potion that he bought from Vesper. "Ah, your the stranger from earlier, never got your name did I?" Vesper would struggle to say as he looked forward. "Glad you could tell, Amell Ross. 'Pleasure' to meet you," Amell would scoff as he looked down on Vesper. "But if I may ask, why the sudden aggression?" Vesper would ask, he remembered when the man, Amell came in earlier. The glare he gave was..Weird, so it wasn't quite sudden.
