Lost within this moment

Where the world fades away

Our souls intertwine

Taking a part of one another, to stay

 

Wrapping your arms around me

I drift off to an unknown place

You and I at peace

A beautiful serenity; a sweet escape

 

Looking forward into the future

Past the immaturities and craziness

Seeing the person deep within

Not just the outter surface

 

Wanting to know you more

But my words refuse to come out

So I patiently sit back and watch

To what your actions say aloud

 

I never want any of this to end

The ease and comfort when we speak

The bond we share

Growing stronger with each passing week

 

This is unlike a small high school romance

But a feeling that could last a lifetime

If chosen to be shared between two

Letting their fate to become intertwined

 

A voice tells me from deep within

To put complete trust and faith in you

For I am loved and safe

And by me, you are too

 

My words come easily through this pen

Each one from my heart

Forever being honest and true

No matter if we are together or apart

 

What my future withholds

A planned out journey, everything new

Different choices and paths will come

And I see mine leading to you
