Letting go emotionally

Is extremely painful and hard

But to move on is best

A new beginning and a good start

 

When a friendship or relationship ends

It opens a door

To new things and past thoughts

Unexplained feelings and so much more

 

The strive to move forward

Letting the past go

Becoming stronger without you

A new brightness beginning to show

 

Dealing with the feelings for you

Now when it seems too late

Getting through this and overcoming this test

Because letting it slide is only be a mistake

 

You can no longer run my life

Basing my decisions around you

I refuse you that pleasure

Being apart of what ever I do

 

So with this

I set these feelings free

Never returning, for without you
