My Canadian Flag

Back to my old love poems..

Sweet like the sap of a maple tree,
Strong like a true patriot,
Pure as the color white,
Heart pumping with the color red,
Wave high, my Canadian flag.

the flag seems to symbolize identity
and leads the poem pretty well
