Gone

You're dead,
There's no point in crying.

All the things you've said,
All the places you've been.
I miss you,
But there's still no point in shedding tears.

No point in yelling,
Screaming,
Crying.

No point in wishing,
Hoping,
Throwing things at a wall to try and get your attention.

It won't change anything.

You're gone,
Away,
Not here.

And you won't come back.
You'll never come back...

The "dark" can only exist where there was once "light - the two cannot be separated. I really enjoyed this, especially the simplicity of of your approach: honest and to the point. I have experienced the loss of three great men in my life since October and this really does summarize how I often feel. Thank-you!
